Growing up, Wangalwa Musa was always drawn to opportunities that allowed him to help others optimize their potential, and make a positive impact in the world, or at least a little corner of it. At the center of his life is the unending passion and desire to drive growth, promote entrepreneurship and innovation, and design high-impact interventions that solve our communities’ most-pressing challenges.
Wangalwa Musa is a project management professional with 8 years of experience in catalyzing the success of entrepreneurs, small and growing businesses, by providing them with technical assistance, business support and a conducive environment for their growth, development and maturity. He has built a reputation for being an impact-oriented leader who is committed to delivering value and impact while addressing the challenge of youth unemployment.
Prior to joining Amani Institute, Wangalwa Musa designed, managed and led the implementation of skills and enterprise development programmes for GIZ, KCB Foundation, Mastercard Foundation, Kenya Climate Innovation Center and the Youth Empowerment Programme Initiative. As Program Manager at Amani Institute, Musa is responsible for designing and delivering high-impact learning and development interventions that take Amani’s clients to the next level and allows them to tap into their full potential.
Musa is currently pursuing an MBA in International Business Management from the University of Nairobi. He is also a Future Africa fellow, an alumnus of the Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI), an International Finance Corporation (IFC) certified Trainer of Trainer and Trainer of Assessors, and a finalist of Deloitte’s Business Skills Immersion. In his free time, you’ll find him exploring new flavors and cuisines, seeking thrilling adventures, spending time with family and friends or still... volunteering in social causes that make a positive impact in the community.
