Ricardo Vidal

Executive Producer, Feel Filmes

Ricardo is a Brazilian social innovator focused on producing social impact audiovisual, including documentaries, podcasts, and web series. He also presents some talk shows related to arts and social innovation. Since 2010, he has been running Feel Filmes, a production company based in Sao Paulo that revolves around impact-driven filmmaking.

Initially, Ricardo was on track to become a corporate employee. He graduated in Business at Universidade Estadual de Londrina, did an extension program in branding at New York University, and an MBA in Project Management at Fundacao Getulio Vargas. After working for Johnson & Johnson for 4 years, he decided to pursue his dreams, attending a film school called Academia Internacional de Cinema. Ever since, Ricardo has been working in the audiovisual space as an executive producer and presenter.

Ricardo strongly believes that audiovisual is a powerful tool to stimulate new consciousnesses and consequently new behavior to create a better world. As a social innovator, he works to increase visibility to vulnerable people and to bring to discuss taboo subjects. Passion, courage, and empathy are the three principles he loves most and wishes to hone as an Amani Fellow.
