Marcelo Fernandes – Brazilian Partner, Krauthammer (Amsterdam); Lecturer, FDC - Fundação Dom Cabral (Brazil) - Marcelo was formerly an executive in the highly competitive telecom industry in Brazil, where he was responsible for Strategic Planning, Partnership, New Business Development and IP/Internet Services. During this twenty years period he realized how unprepared we are to manage conflicts. Waste of time, energy and lots of unnecessary stress (disruption of relationships) just because we have not being appropriately trained how to conciliate interests. For the last twelve years, Marcelo lectures negotiation in business schools, open and in-company programs, and strongly believes that developing negotiation skills with responsible and ethical emphasis is a contribution to build better societies.
