Joy is a development professional who is passionate about improving rural livelihoods. At the age of 10, she was selected as a delegate for the UNEP Environmental Conference in Victoria, Canada. In more recent years, she graduated from USIU- Africa, cum laude, with a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations, a concentration in Development studies and a minor in Environmental Studies. Joy has since worked with the World Agroforestry Centre and the Nobeah Technologies Foundation, in rural research, donor relations and human resources. In her part time, she is a Staff Writer and Blogger with Ayiba Magazine, where she writes about Africans both at home and in the Diaspora, who are changing the world view of what it means to be African.
