Cindy Obath

Mapping, Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, Tsavo Conservation Group Inc.

Having lived in 5 different countries, Cindy developed a passion for travel as well as an appreciation and thirst for other cultures. This influenced her decision to study Geography and Environmental Science at school, ultimately leading to her discovering her passion for GIS (Geographic Information Systems). After completing her post graduate degree in GIS, Cindy started working for a small NGO in Nairobi that deals with issues surrounding Cerebral Palsy. With the ability to understand and work with people from various countries and backgrounds, and her GIS skills, Cindy hopes to effect change in the social sector by highlighting new gaps where intervention can be made and looking for new ways to fill these gaps.
