Anjali was born in a small town called Palakkad in the state of Kerala (India), also known as God’s Own Country. She has hopped through many places in India such as Delhi, Hosur, Coimbatore, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bangalore and is well versed in many Indian languages, including English, Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada, and Gujarati. She loves inter-cultural experiences and absolutely enjoys meeting new people and learning about their language and culture. An amicable personality by nature, her energy and passion for things and people she loves is infectious.
She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Communication and a Master’s Degree in Strategic Marketing and Communication from the prestigious college MICA, in Ahmedabad, India. She has always been passionate about education and is a great teacher. She has volunteered with Make A Difference (MAD) Foundation and has taught 9th graders at an underprivileged shelter home in Gujarat. She believes that learning is most effective when made engaging, exciting and experiential. She has previously worked at Educational Initiatives and is currently the Marketing Lead at Goodera, a technology platform company which seeks to power the world for good. Through Amani Institute’s Social Innovation Management Program, she aims to bring a revolutionary change in the way education is imparted in schools and bring in an experiential approach to learning.
