Agustín Cuadra

Global Communication Manager, Amani Institute

Agustín loves being the mosquito in the room. A self-appointed global citizen, innovative digital marketer, and visual communicator by day, aristocrat unicorn by night. He has worked in digital marketing with nonprofits, government institutions, and the international corporate sector as a content creator, advertiser, brand strategist, and copywriter. He has further knowledge in audiovisual production, internet business, and change management. Based in Costa Rica, over the past ten years, he has developed, consulted, and participated in creative processes for brands such as U.N. Mandated University for Peace, AMCP New York, CISV International, The Office of the First Lady of Costa Rica, Hyatt, and most recently Cisco Systems. Agustín is a skillful speaker and teacher in social design and visual communication. A pioneer at heart, he's an active member of the World Economic Forum Global Shaper's network and an advisor for startup founders at one of Costa Rica's top incubators. You can rely on him to care for the people around him, and he is always on the lookout that no one is left behind. Agustín joined Amani in early 2022 as Global Communication Manager. He chose to return to the nonprofit sector after some time in the corporate world; looking to use his skills and knowledge to contribute to people's self-development. Agustin hopes his work at Amani will contribute to the overall well-being of the world and a brighter future. "If you think you're too small to have an impact, try going to bed with a mosquito in the room."
