Mayara Costa

Programs and Community Coordinator

Mayara is from the beautiful Pernambuco state in Brazil. She has been in the impact and social innovation sector since before it became a buzz word in Brazil as she believes they are the way we can contribute in making changes that can improve the world.

She holds a Master's in Business Administration from the Federal University of Campina Grande and a degree in International Relations from the Federal University of Paraíba. In the technology and social innovation ecosystem, she has contributed through various roles such as a Business and Entrepreneurship Manager at Voxar Labs, a mentor for female ventures at Belabs Accelerator and even co-founded “Te orienta", to name a few.

In mid 2022 Mayara joined the Amani Institute team on a permanent basis after consulting in our FIS program in previous years. She is currently our Coordinator of Programs and Projects whilst still continuing as a Tutor of Social Impact Training in FIS.

When not working you can find her with her little dog on the beaches of Pernambuco and ideally also with her favourite dessert - strawberry pie.
