Sarah believes that social innovation has the ability to foster social change on a profound level by using a holistic approach, giving strength to individuals and in the long run support a shift in how economies and social welfare are defined.
She both studied in Switzerland and Sweden and holds a Master Degree in marketing with a specialization in sustainability. During this time, she conducted a research project in Kenya and had the chance to experience the impact of a social business on consumers.
In the past years, she has worked as a Project Manager in the branding department of one of the biggest Swiss retailers and as a Jr. Marketing Manager for a global certification body in the textile industry. These positions provided her the expertise for building a sustainable brand image as well as acquiring new customers and communicating complex issues regarding sustainability.
