Mihela Hladin is currently Patagonia's Environmental and Social Initiatives Manager for Europe. Born in Slovenia, she has lived and worked in Europe, the US and China, with most of her work dedicated to environmental sustainability and public awareness. In 2007, she founded Greennovate (www.greennovate.net) a social enterprise in China, that helped companies and communities implement sustainable strategies. Through an offline / online platform for environmental education, Greennovate designed sustainability awareness programs for Chinese youth and global consumers. The platform reached more than one million viewers in 2013.
