Janina is an international development professional from Germany. She currently works for a local German NGO in the field of Social Entrepreneurship. Before that, she worked for the World Food Programme’s (WFP) mobile application ShareTheMeal. She learned the ropes of international development in the German Development Agency (GIZ) and worked in the private sector during her studies.
Janina holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Master’s degree in Development Economics and International Studies from Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg. She has lived and studied in Mexico and Canada; as well as traveled and volunteered in many other countries, such as Brazil, South Africa, and Malaysia. At Amani Institute, Janina is looking forward to growing her network of international changemakers and getting the latest insights into the social innovation sector.
