Carolyne Kamau

Junior Program Manager

Since joining Amani Institute in June 2018, as Junior Program Manager, Carolyne Kamau, (affectionately known as CK), has been integral in the facilitation of our ALMI and YALI Programs. At the workplace, Carolyne’s passion is infectious , always going the extra mile to ensure programs run smoothly. Ever smiling, Carolyne keeps the office lively with her warm personality and humor.

A holder of a Bachelor of Law degree from the University of Nairobi, Carolyne has always been eager to push her boundaries, hence her active involvement in many social projects and the arts. She has vast experience in the social sphere having worked extensively with Voluntary Service Overseas(VSO), the Nansen School of Peace and Dialogue, Umoja na Usawa as well as the African Youth Commission.

Caroline is very much in touch with her creative side and this is exhibited best via her committed weekly involvement in Afiki Arts, a dance group she co-founded. She is also an actor with Masafa Community Based Organisation where has been the lead actor in various plays as well as penning the script for several theatrical shows focus focused on social issues.
